Jimmy likely endured quite the traumatic experience as he fought to survive as a lost racing pigeon until he was rescued, so it’s no wonder this gentle bird is still a bit scared! He was so relieved to see other pigeons safe and unharmed upon his arrival into our rehab care, and still finds the presence of his fellow pigeon friends a great comfort. Jimmy will be a wonderful addition to any flock in a foster or forever home or aviary where Jimmy can be loved and reassured he’s truly safe at last…

Junco (cat-tail in Spanish!) is not even a year old yet, and she already has remarkable poise and grace! She bravely survived pigeon racing, and since being rescued has amazed us all with her exceptionally beautiful and regal demeanor. This true princess is a bit shy and demure at first, but once you pick her up and reassure her she’s safe she relaxes and settles right in for cuddles and conversation!
