Great Lakes Pigeon Rescue is always looking for volunteers to assist in the care and rehabilitation of pigeons in need. Here are some ways you can help:

Transport – We are constantly transporting pigeons around the Great Lakes area, primarily in Greater Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana. If you’d like to give a pigeon a lift, send us an email at greatlakespigeonrescue@gmail.com letting us know where you’re located and what your transport availability is.

Foster Care – The more foster homes we establish, the more pigeons we can rescue! If you’d like to have a pigeon or pair of pigeons in your home on a short-term basis while they wait to be adopted, please fill out our foster application here.

Aviary Cleanup – Some of our pigeons live in big aviaries in the western suburbs, and we can always use help cleaning and freshening up! If you’re interested in scheduling a cleanup day, please send us an email at greatlakespigeonrescue@gmail.com.
